We would like to announce that our company name will be officially changed as of 1st October 2025.

1. New Company Name
Japanese: 住商グローバルエレクトロニクス株式会社
English: Sumitronics Corporation (No change)

2. Purpose of the Name Change
Our previous company name did not fully reflect our affiliation with the Sumitomo Corporation Group or the scope of our business activities. By changing our company name, we aim to clarify our affiliation with the Sumitomo Corporation Group and demonstrate our commitment to leveraging the Group’s resources to meet the diverse needs of customers globally.
Furthermore, while our core business has been EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services), the new name represents our commitment to enhancing our capabilities and delivering high-quality, value-added services across the entire electronics sector, beyond the scope of EMS.

3. Abbreviation
The abbreviation “Sumitronics” combines “Sumisho” (Sumitomo Corporation) and “Electronics.” Over the past 25 years, we have established a strong reputation under this name, and we will continue to use “Sumitronics” as our abbreviation even after the name change.

Please note that there will be no changes to our address, telephone number, or business objectives as a result of this name change.
