STX-T Conducts Canal Cleanup Activity to Reduce Marine Plastic Waste

On March 15, 2026, Sumitronics (Thailand) held a cleanup activity along a local canal connected to the sea in Bangkok, as part of our ongoing environmental conservation efforts.
With marine plastic waste becoming a serious issue in Thailand, this activity was organized to collect waste before it reaches the ocean. Approximately 40 employees participated in the activity, successfully collecting about 1.2 tons of plastics and other waste from the canal.
Furthermore, the activity helped raise environmental awareness among our employees, with participants sharing feedback such as, "I want to sort my waste more properly and reduce my use of plastics."
Moving forward, our company will continue to engage in these social contribution activities to protect the natural environment for the next generation and realize a sustainable society.
